Industrie Celtex, specialising in manufacturing tissue paper, has implemented an avant-garde design to be developed at Altopascio (in Tuscany, in Italy), which meets three objectives: to continue with the work of upgrading the industrial area, to guarantee maximum levels of security, particularly with regard to fire, and to contribute substantially to the improvement of air quality and therefore the environment. On site, in fact, the company has created a fully automated warehouse, which reduces the risk of fire and invests innovatively and functionally in logistics, thus complying with the founding principles of Industry 4.0.

The expansion of Celtex in Altopascio, started three years ago, continues with an ultra technological infrastructure for a further area of 15 thousand square metres. The building, which will be 23 metres high, will be able to store up to 40 thousand pallets of finished products and a very specific aspect will make it stand out: full automation. The structure, free-standing, will, in fact, be perfectly autonomous, able to unload, store and reload the product as necessary.
