Ignazio Capuano, Managing Director of Reno De Medici S.p.A., has been appointed Chairman of Cepi Cartonboard, the European Association of Cartonboard Manufacturers. Based in Zurich, the Association represents around 20 paper-making groups in more than ten European countries, accounting for more than 95% of total European productive capacity in this sector. Ignazio Capuano has 20 years’ experience in the paper industry, in particular in the recovered fibre sector. As Managing Director of RWE Italy, Ignazio Capuano also has significant experience in the energy and environment fields. He has been Managing Director of Reno De Medici S.p.A. since 2004 and Chairman of Comieco, the Italian Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging, since 2011.
