AkzoNobel has announced that negotiations with Basf are currently going on regarding a potential acquisition of the Coatings industrial business. According to a press release issued by the company, «AkzoNobel strategy to be a leader in terms of operational excellency and organic growth includes the possibility to pursue value generation through acquisitions».
