DS Smith www.dssmith.com has recently opened a new production hall in its Polish plant in Kielce. This is an investment worth 10 million Polish zloty (i.e. 2.3 million Euros), which will enable the company to increase its production of cardboard packages for several sectors. The new production hall stretches over an area of over 5,600 square metres and has extended the area of the plant by about 85,000 square metres. The output of the plant is mainly targeted to companies in the automotive, electronic and logistic industries. The Kielce plant is managed by the local subsidiary DS Smith Polska.
