Kemira has announced the opening of new lines for the production of AKD emulsion preparations and cationic products in its plant of Nanjing in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. Thanks to the opening of the new production line Kemira can produce and provide all types of reducing agents to serve customers in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan and other Asia-Pacific regions. This investment can help increase the supply of paper chemical products offered by Kemira, thereby strengthening its leading position in the cellulose and paper sector. «The demand for high-quality products for calibration purposes is on the rise in the Apac region, especially for packaging», says Nichlas Kavander, SVP, Commercial, Kemira Pulp & Paper, Apac. «Thanks to our new investment in our Nanjing plant we can now supply higher quality cutting products and use existing infrastructures.
