Viktoriia Schmidt and Arthur Schmidt have won first prize for the professional category of the Recreate Packaging 2018 competition announced by Stora Enso with “Fruit Glasses”. In the category reserved for students, the winner of the first prize was “MonsterFruits” by Marcus Zieboll and Tino Buschhorn, from the Stuttgart Media University in Germany. The theme of the Recreate Packaging 2018 competition focusses on baby food packaging and intends to promote innovative packaging designs and solutions based on renewable raw materials. This year’s edition identified a staggering increase of 61% of registrations compared with the preceding edition. The designers, who overall presented 258 ideas, have been clearly motivated by the possibility of working on sustainable and renewable materials and by the task of improving baby food packaging.
