Within the framework of its growing expansion in the pressure sensitive label market in Latin America, UPM Raflatac www.upmraflatac.com has recently announced its intention to open a new distribution terminal in Santiago de Chile at the beginning of 2018. This new terminal will enable UPM Raflatac to improve its offer with a wide range of paper and film products to Chilean customers, in particular in the sector of wines and wine-based products and artisanal products. This brand-new facility, which is currently being built in the Lo Boza industrial area near Santiago International Airport, will be part of the UPM Raflatac American Terminal Network, which includes several installations and facilities in North and South America.

«UPM Raflatac is proud to expand its business activities in South America», says Mark Pollard, who is the senior vice-president of Global Films SBU & Americas Region of UPM Raflatac. «Our new terminal testifies to our commitment towards the Chilean market and the surrounding area. The wine market continues growing and the new terminal will give us the chance to expand our portfolio of premium quality local products and link it to first-quality service».
