Valmet new service centre in Indonesia to consolidate the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region

    Valmet www.valmet.com has recently opened a new service centre in Cikarang, 30 km from Jakarta on the Isle of Java, Indonesia, to serve its customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The official opening ceremony took place on 27th September and saw the participation of customers, local authorities and Valmet managers.

    According to Valmet President for Asia-Pacific Hannu T. Pietilä (picture), «Indonesia and the entire Asia-Pacific region are a rapidly growing market and we have several ongoing projects in the area. The setting up of a customer service centre near our customers is a major step forward to consolidate our local presence. We are now in a position to serve our customers in Indonesia and in the Asia-Pacific region better than before».

    Valmet’s customer service centre in Indonesia provides services to improve the reliability and performance of processes for customers in the energy, cellulose and paper industries.
