Metsä Board has appointed Malin Nygren as Vice President of the Husum Pulp and Board Mill, effective July 1, 2026. Nygren, who has served in the role on an interim basis since March 2026, now assumes the position permanently.
The appointment follows the previous transition of Olov Winblad von Walter to the role of VP Operations Transformation. The company thanked him for his contribution during his tenure and wished him well for the future.
In her new role, Nygren will continue to report to Laura Remes, SVP Production and Supply Chain, and will join Metsä Board’s Operations Leadership Team.
