Södra Cell Mörrum is enhancing process control and pulp quality with the installation of two new Valmet Fiberline Analyzer units supplied by Valmet Oyj.
The analyzers provide highly accurate, real-time measurements of key fiberline parameters such as Kappa number, brightness, and fiber and shives characteristics. This enables the mill to stabilize critical process variables, optimize fiberline performance, and ensure consistently high-quality pulp output.
This delivery represents the fourth generation of Valmet’s Kappa Analyzer technology at Södra Cell Mörrum, continuing a partnership that began over 30 years ago with the mill’s first Kappa Analyzer in 1994. Roger Holmedahl, Senior Sales Manager, Automation Solutions, Valmet, commented: “Our new Fiberline Analyzers help the mill strengthen process stability and secure consistently high-quality pulp. We are proud to support Södra in their ongoing development with our Kappa Analyzer technology.” The analyzers are scheduled for delivery in Q2 2026.
