Barry-Wehmiller (BW) announced that Kyle Chapman will assume the role of CEO, in addition to his current role as President. Bob Chapman, who led the company since 1975, will continue as Chairman of the Board and majority shareholder.
The Chapman family has guided BW since 1957. Bob Chapman reflected on passing the leadership to his son, emphasizing the company’s commitment to meaningful work, safety, and valuing its 12,000-plus employees.
Kyle Chapman brings over 25 years of private equity and operational experience, joining BW in 2009 to co-found BW Forsyth Partners. He previously served as Strategic Financial Advisor, Interim CFO, and President. His promotion to CEO reflects his deep understanding of BW’s business and culture.
«I’m honored to lead Barry-Wehmiller and build on my dad’s legacy,» said Kyle. «We will demonstrate that a company can achieve financial strength while remaining committed to people, showing the world that human-centered leadership and top performance can coexist.»
