Metsä Board Corporation has announced the appointment of Anssi Tammilehto as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Corporate Leadership Team, effective no later than February 2, 2026. He will report directly to CEO Esa Kaikkonen.
Tammilehto brings extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles at Neste Corporation, including serving as interim CFO and most recently as SVP of Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations. He succeeds Henri Sederholm, who will leave the company. In the interim, Antti Kiljunen, M.Sc. (Econ.), will serve as interim CFO.

With Tammilehto’s appointment, the Corporate Leadership Team will include: Esa Kaikkonen (CEO), Minna Björkman (SVP Containerboard, from January 5, 2026), Erja Hyrsky (SVP Commercial Operations), Jussi Noponen (SVP Production and Supply Chain), Laura Remes (SVP Business Transformation), Camilla Wikström (SVP HR), and the incoming CFO Anssi Tammilehto.
