Reno De Medici has concluded, with the German private equity fund Quantum Capital Partners, the preliminary contract to acquire 100% of Barcelona Cartonboard www.bcncarton.com, a company incorporated under Spanish law and the seventh European player in the coated cardboard sector. The provisional price of the shareholding is based on an Enterprise Value of 46.4 million euros. The acquisition will be financed predominantly by Reno De Medici through a specific external funding line. The closing date for the transaction is expected to be by the end of 2018.
