After its acquisition of the Fedrigoni group, the London investment company will in fact add another Italian paper company to its own portfolio. Bain Capital has made a statement that, through Fedrigoni Holding, it has drawn up a final agreement for the purchase of the Cordenons Group, a specialist manufacturer of paper, packaging, publishing and printing.
The Cordenons Group will be purchased and managed as an independent company. “However, over time, the shareholders of the Fedrigoni Group see a significant opportunity to share best practices, increase its operating know-how and improve service and innovation, strengthening its own range of high added value special papers and key relationships with customers, integrated with a widely recognised brand on international markets,” announced Bain Capital.
