As a result of constant increases in the cost of raw materials and a consequent reduction in profit margins, Sappi announces an upward revision in sales prices in Europe. It is therefore announcing an increase of 8% for all coated papers on a reel from the beginning of July 2015.
As regards sheets of paper, percentages and dates of increase will be announced later.
The paper Group concludes the announcement by advising that customers will be contacted directly by the sales managers who will be able to supply all relevant information.
Cham Paper Group revises prices upwards
Since the beginning of last May, Cham Paper Group, a Swiss manufacturer of special coated papers, has also increased prices for papers intended as consumer goods and papers produced for industrial usage. The price increase, within a range of 5-8%, is applicable for invoices dated from the beginning of May and can vary depending on the region. In addition to Cham, in Switzerland, the paper manufacturer also has production plants in Carmignano and Condino in Italy.
