OEM International is expanding its European presence and entering the Italian paper industry through the acquisition of a majority stake in Weingrill, a long-established company based in Pinerolo specializing in screw-jacks and components for the paper industry.
Founded in 1952, Weingrill stands out for its innovative design, efficient production, and high-quality products, with annual revenues of €7.7 million and more than half of its sales generated abroad. The company employs 32 people, and OEM International also holds an option to acquire the remaining shares in the future.
“This acquisition represents a strategic step for OEM in the Italian market and in the paper sector, expanding our footprint and creating new opportunities for business development,” explained Jörgen Zahlin, CEO and president of OEM International Group.
