Lucart has been awarded the silver prize in the “Circular Economy” category at the Grand Prix de la Good Economie 2025, thanks to its EcoNatural project.
The award ceremony took place on June 4 in Paris, at the Auditorium of the Les Echos — Le Parisien group, in front of an audience of sustainability experts and professionals. The event, promoted by media outlet The Good and organized by the INfluencia group, annually honors the best corporate initiatives driving ecological and social transition.
The EcoNatural project was recognized as one of the most effective and enduring innovations in the field of circular economy. For the past 15 years, in both Italy and France, Lucart has been recovering beverage cartons, such as Tetra Pak, recycling all of their components: cellulose fibers are turned into toilet paper and tissue products, while plastic and aluminum are reused to manufacture paper dispensers.
In 2024 alone, the Laval-sur-Vologne plant recovered the equivalent of 850 million one-liter beverage cartons. Since 2013, thanks to this project, the company has recycled more than 12.5 billion beverage cartons, contributing tangibly to waste reduction and resource efficiency.
“Receiving this award is a great satisfaction. It represents important recognition of our commitment and our technological and sustainable expertise. With EcoNatural, we prove every day that growth and respect for the environment can go hand in hand,” said Benoît Cottel, General Manager of Lucart France.
