International technology Group Andritz has received an order from Upm to deliver a complete new pulp drying line and to upgrade the cooking and brown stock handling of fiberline 3 at the Upm Kymi pulp mill in Kouvola, Finland.
Andritz’s scope of supply comprises: complete pulp drying line with screening plant, TwinWireFormer pulp machine, airborne dryer, cutter-layboy, and bale finishing systems, including mechanical erection; modifications of cooking and brown stock handling, including a new multi-stage DD Washer to enhance brown stock washing in fiberline 3.
