Graphic Packaging Holding Company www.graphicpkg.com has announced the take-over of Norgraft Packaging, the Spanish manufacturer of folding cartons focussed on the food products and household markets by one of its subsidiaries . Every year Norgraft processes about 25 thousand tons of cartons and manages two conversion plants in Maliaño and Requejada in Cantabria, Spain. These facilities generate a turnover worth about 40 million dollars.
As explained by Graphic Packaging president and CEO, «the transaction is in line with our strategy of carrying out acquisitions, which will enable us to increase the volume of folding cartons used in areas of interest and final markets and optimize our costs at the same time, thereby serving our customers as best as possible and enhancing the integration of our two plants».
