Södra has announced the appointment of Cecilia Karlsson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective December 1, 2026. She will also join the Group Executive Team of the Swedish forest industry group.
Karlsson joins from her role as CFO at Öresundskraft and brings extensive experience from senior finance positions at IKEA and Findus, as well as consulting experience at McKinsey. She holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
She will succeed Magnus Örnberg, who is set to leave the company in 2027 following a transition period.
