The paper merchant Igepa Group has taken over its Czech competitor Zing.
By taking over Zing business activities, the Igepa Group will strengthen its Paper&Print business on the Czech market. This investment, which has become effective as of 1st February, confirms the commitment of the Igepa Group on one of the key markets in Eastern-central Europe.
Thanks to this transaction, the Igepa Gropu will earn a significant market share in the Czech Republic. The role of one of the most important paper merchants will guarantee the supply of high-quality products and services for the graphics sector with an exceptional level of service.
In the course of this process, which has been effective since 2nd January 2020, the Igepa Group has appointed Petr Breburda as the new CEO of Igepa. Within the new organization Josef Remeta of Zing Trading and Ivan Petranek of the Igepa Group, together with their teams, will support Petr Breburda to manage the business.
This setup aims at guaranteeing continuity in the provision of customer services and, thus, improving customer satisfaction, as we believe in print media.
