Insolvency procedures relating to the German manufacturer of special papers, Papierfabrik Tönnesmann Hönnetal, were started last 1 July. The company had applied for insolvency on 15 May this year. According to the insolvency administrator’s office, it has not been possible, since then, to resume operations. The company has continued to look for a purchaser, but talks have been very difficult since production has now been halted for almost two months. Tönnesmann produced one-sided recycled paper for envelopes, shipping pouches, gift paper and packaging. The company had 59 employees.
