Kemira has recently started the production of high resistance resins in its new plant in Estella, Spain. The high-efficiency resins produced by the plant are used for fabrics, laminates and packaging, including food packaging. The production of these types of fabrics, paper and cardboard is on the rise in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East and the new plant will be used to serve Kemira’s customers based in these areas.

The company Senior Manager in charge of Marketing of the Pulp & Paper sector for Emea Eric Padovani explains that the «Estella plant makes use of the most advanced technologies, thereby guaranteeing high resistance and efficiency on the market. This is vital to meet the current and future needs of the textile and paper industry also of very demanding countries, like Germany».
