Candidatures have been opened for the European Carton Excellence Award, the prize awarded within carton packaging, with carton being the protagonist in every sector, from luxury to mass products.
Participation is open to any players along the supply chain: carton producers, converters, designers, brand owners and retailers. Awards will be conferred to the best packaging solutions in terms of functionality and innovation produced within the paper industry.
Two special awards will be conferred among the eligible categories:
– Save the Planet, to the best carton packaging that has replaced or reduced a less sustainable material;
– Innovation Award, to the most innovative carton or material.
Cartons eligible to participate in the contest have to be sold in Europe in the last three years. Prototypes and models are not allowed to participate.
