From 1st March 2019 Petr Domin has been the new CEO for Papcel. Petr Domin has a degree from the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, in the field of “Paper and cellulose” and started his professional career in the Czech paper mill JIP Vetrni, to then move to the Huhtamaki Group. Here he covered different positions in the paper production and food packaging production departments. He gradually went from serving as CEO in the Czech company Huhtamaki to being appointed as CEO in Northern Ireland, Norway and the Netherlands, where, among other things, he set up a new and very innovative project team. He worked for the Huhtamaki Group and his management with four additional production companies in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France and Northern Ireland and several support organizations all over Europe.
His last professional appointment before joining Papcel was executive vice-president dealing with the management of Huhtamaki world division with 11 manufacturing companies in all continents, support organizations and several small companies with minority shares (mainly in Central and South America). At the same time, he was a senior manager and in this capacity he actively participated in drafting corporate strategies and led the “corporate responsibility” for the whole company.
