Milan is getting ready for the third edition of the trade show on luxury packaging, which will take place at Fieramilanocity from 28th to 30th May 2019. Packaging Première is the only event in Italy devoted to this sector and serves as a meeting point between international designers, producers and brands, who have identified in packaging the potential of exclusive communication that grasps the ongoing change in the field of high segment products.
With the strong presence of brands, luxury packaging is expressed in original forms and based on a supply chain that has been designed to pursue premium quality in the processing of raw materials up until the finished product. Packaging Première features previews, offers space for experimentation and innovation and helps managers understand trends, supporting companies to reach their markets earlier.
Today the aim of the event, which was officially opened in 2017, is to increase the number of foreign exhibitors and visitors.
Italian and foreign exhibitors present for the first time at Packaging Première include companies active in sectors that were less represented in past editions, i.e. textiles and covering materials, or primary packaging in plastics and glass and its respective complements, thus providing for more balance between the various product categories. The central topic will be the metamorphosis of materials normally used for packaging, which, through artisanal work, can be turned into real works of art.
