The Commercial Court of Nanterre, in France, has recently decided that Sequana, the holding company of Arjowiggins and Antalis, will be liquidated. The company declares that it is not able to meet the financial obligations imposed by the controversy with BAT (British American Tobacco). Furthermore, it was no longer able to meet it operating costs or other liabilities as the majority of the Arjowiggins group companies were in insolvency proceedings.

As already previously decided, it will continue to investigate a new shareholder structure for the subsidiary Antalis with the aim of raising funds for future development.
