Solidus Solutions has acquired Welsh British Heathpak Limited a provider of solid board and corrugated packaging for the meat, fish, horticulture, industrial, food and drinks industries. The acquisition was signed and completed on 1 February 2021. Heathpak was founded in 1999 and operates from a 6,500 m² plant in Newport and a warehouse in Grimsby. The company has a turnover of GBP 16 million and more than 50 staff.
Solidus Solutions acquired Heathpak from its owners Alan Heath and Lyndon Whitlock. Mr Whitlock is joining the Solidus Group will continue leading Heathpak, while John Curran, Managing Director for the UK, assumes overall responsibility of Solidus’ operations in the UK.
The acquisition will enable Solidus Solutions to broaden its product portfolio and further optimise service levels to existing and new customers.
