MG TEC Industry has successfully started up its second complete Andritz tissue paper production line at its plant in Dej, Romania. The first line went into operation in 2021. «Energy-efficient production and perfect end-product quality-these were our main goals, and together with Andritz we achieved them» says Dorin Mocan, CEO of MG TEC Industry. «With their fantastic on-site team and support in all areas, Andritz met the challenging startup schedule perfectly. Our second line was started on the dot» adds Simion Buburuz, technical manager of MG TEC Industry. The turnkey order includes a PrimeLineCOMPACT tissue machine, a complete stock preparation system, pumps, automation, hall ventilation and electrification.
The stock preparation system includes an approach flow system and breakage management. TwinFlo disc refiners lead to optimum development of fiber properties, and the ShortFlow system enables rapid quality changes and high flexibility. The tissue machine-design speed 1,900 m/min, paper width 2.85 m-features a steel Yankee for energy-efficient drying, specially designed forming fabrics, a pressing felt for high drying, and a suction and pressure roller cover for efficient machine productivity. High-efficiency pumps and Andritz digital solutions complete the delivery.
