Twin Rivers acquires the Mondi Group Arkansas paper mill


Twin Rivers Paper Company has concluded a final agreement for the purchase of the paper mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, owned by Mondi Group Twin Rivers, with its headquarters in Madawaska, in Maine, produces special packaging, special technical papers and labels. It is owned by Atlas Holdings and Blue Wolf Capital. The paper mill which will be purchased based on this agreement produces unbleached kraftpaper like Multiwall, Converting and Grocery Bag which are used for a variety of food, agricultural and industrial applications.

«Twin Rivers is a high quality agile and integrated company which is well positioned as market leader in the packaging, publishing, labelling and technical specialities markets», explains Bob Snyder, managing director of Twin Rivers. «The addition of the Pine Bluff site is consistent with our company’s development and completes our general lamination system, range of products and strategic direction».
