The Polish cardboard manufacturer Rawi-box plans to invest about 70 million Euros to build a new packaging installation of cardboard papers in the low-emission area of Jasienicka, in the Southern part of Poland. This was announced by the municipal authorities of Jasienica in a recent statement. Last year the company signed an agreement for the acquisition of two fields stretching over a total area of over 80 000 square metres in the area. The packaging producer paid about 12.2 million PLN (i.e. 2.8 million Euros) for the land. Based in Rawicz, in the West of Poland, Rawibox has been part of the German Rossmann Group since 1997.
