As of the 1st of July this year Jaakko Nikkilä, aged 52, is executive vice president and business area manager at Upm Specialty Papers. He will be working from the offices in Helsinki, and will report to Jussi Pesonen, president and CEO.
Nikkilä, since 2018, has been senior vice president for the European and North American business of UPM Specialty Papers. Before that he was sales manager for Upm Specialty Papers in the APAC region, with offices in Shanghai, for five years. He started working for Upm inl 1995. Nikkilä has a master’s degree in engineering and industrial management from the Helsinki Technology University and an eMBA from the University of Aalto.
