New managing director and sales manager for PG Paper’s growth strategy

One of the main paper manufacturing companies in Scotland, PG Paper, has hired two key figures in support of growth plans on all its international markets.

The company has headquarters in Greenock; it was founded by two entrepreneurs – Poonam and Puneet Gupta – in 2003. It has recorded exponential growth over the past few years, and now operates in 55 countries worldwide. Chris McKendrick, former managing director of the beauty product and fragrance brand for the Scottish luxury company Arran Aromatics and of Cath Kidston, has now joined the staff of PG as production manager. Jim McKenzie, whose most recent position was that of Sales Development Director at Antalis, is the new sales manager.  «We are pleased to have hired professionals the likes of Chris and Jim to work with us», says Puneet Gupta, Managing Director of PG Paper. «Both Jim and Chris have outstanding experience and knowledge, which I am confident will help support and develop the international presence of PG Paper on our key markets».

« PG’s enterprising spirit PG has led to exponential growth for the business over the past few years», adds McKendrick. «My contribution will consist in developing our international sales team, as well as working with the senior team at PG to review existing processes and procedures». The appointment of McKendrick and McKenzie follows two international events in Turkey and China to support the growth plans of this ambitious enterprise. Over the past few months, the company has also opened offices in in America and Sweden.
