Description: Leading Chinese tissue producer Hengan International Group started up a Tadvision tissue machine supplied by Toscotec at their headquarters facility in Fujian. This is the second of two TAD (Through-Air-Drying) machines that Toscotec supplied to Hengan, of which the first came online in 2023 at their Xiaogan mill in Hubei.
Details: Hengan International Group is currently operating the first two TAD machines installed in China. With Toscotec’s Tadvision lines, Hengan is effectively changing the narrative for top quality tissue in the Chinese market.
Their successful market launch of premium quality structured tissue in China has been establishing a new quality benchmark since 2024. Hengan’s TAD tissue features excellent bulk, softness and absorbency properties that are substantially higher than conventional and textured tissue.
With these two successful start-ups, Toscotec and Hengan International Group strengthened their long-standing partnership that began with two tissue machines that were started up in 2017 at their Changji mill in Xinjiang province.
