Winner of the category “beauty & cosmetics” at Pro carton, Müller Soft Star Tissue was produced by Mayr-Melnhof Packaging International, the brand owner is Müller Großhandels Ltd. & Co. KG and it was constructed on Metsä Boardcardboard.
The idea initially came from the producer of the packaging: a round cylinder, something never seen in this rather conservative market segment. This completely new look immediately catches the attention, both at the point of sale and at home.
Elaborate finishes, beautiful decorations and various designs for different categories of end users of the product give this basic product a new and fresh potential. The outside appearance is not only attractive from an aesthetic point of view, but is also pleasing to the touch. The elimination of the plastic cover commonly used in this type of product makes the packaging 100 per cent sustainable.
What really amazed the panel of judges is the incredible feeling of softness, from the raised parts and from its texture, which added that desirability to the packaging which is undoubtedly the basis for a higher price.
