Lucart celebrated its 60 years: from a small family company, it has managed to become a multi-national company which commercializes its products all over the world and where, the third generation of the family has worked with merit for a long time.
Today the group has seven production sites in Europe, 11 continuous machines, 69 converting lines, 340,000 tons/year of production, 1,400 employees and a turnover of about 450 million euros, with a unique variety of products and important brands for both the Consumer and Professional markets.
The story of the Pasquini family in the paper industry started in the Fifties, although their experience in the sector started during the Twenties with an important production plant in Villa Basilica (Italia), birth place and significant paper production pole of the Tuscan territory. But the year 1953, with the foundation of the «Cartiera Lucchese dei F.lli Pasquini» (Paper Mill of the Lucca area belonging to the Pasquini Brothers), marked the beginning of a long story of successes and tradition.
In 2012 the Italian business of the famous American multi-national Georgia–Pacific was acquired, with the two productions sites of Castelnuovo in Garfagnana (Lucca) and Avigliano (Potenza) and the famous brands Tenderly and Tutto Pannocarta.
