After nearly three decades with the company, Matthew North, sales director of German viscose specialty fiber manufacturer Kelheim Fibres, retired July 1. During his long and successful career, he has played a significant role in Kelheim Fibers’ transformation from a supplier of standard fibers to the European textile industry into a supplier of predominantly customized specialty fibers for the hygiene, specialty paper and textile industries.
Mark von der Becke will assume the position of sales manager and join the management team of Kelheim Fibres. The 48-year-old manager has extensive experience in sales, marketing and key customer management. He has held various management positions in renowned companies such as Hoechst, Clariant and DS Smith in Germany, Switzerland and China. He is known for successfully developing and implementing change strategies and programs. Marina Crnoja-Cosic, who currently serves as director of New business development and a member of the Kelheim Fibers management team since 2020, will assume responsibility for marketing and communications. She has already proven to be a dedicated and competent leader and will now lead the further development of marketing strategy and communication with customers and partners.
«On behalf of the entire team, I would like to express our gratitude to Matthew for his outstanding work over the past decades,» comments Craig Barker, CEO of Kelheim Fibres. «His wealth of experience, calm nature, and British humor will be greatly missed. We wish him all the best in his exciting new chapter in life. At the same time, we wish Mark von der Becke and Marina Crnoja-Cosic much success in the new responsibilities they have now assumed.»
