The Polish manufacturer of cardboard and paper packaging PPU Optima has submitted an investment project of around six million Polish złoty (1.4 million euros) for the construction of a new manufacturing facility which will have an area of about 4,500 square metres. The manufacturer expects to build its factory in the Hajnówka zone, a special economic area of Suwalki (SSSE), in the north-east of Poland. The location of the plant in a special economic zone will allow PPU Optima to benefit from preferential tax treatment.
