Solenis has completed the acquisition of the distribution business of chemical products for cellulose and paper from Connell Bros. Co.(CBC) in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.
All the goods and activities associated with the Solenis business of cellulose and paper pulp represented by CBC in these countries is part of the agreement, including the stock, accounting and equipment. In addition, the CBC sales staff and technicians will be invited to transfer to Solenis.
“South-East Asia is now a rapidly growing territory for the production of cellulose and paper and represents a significant growth opportunity for Solenis”, states John Panichella, president and CEO of Solenis. “We have worked closely with the Connell Brothers South East Asia team for many years, so this is a logical step in our desire to supply complete solutions to our customers in this market”.
