Tissue means Aloha brand in South of Italy

Meridional Tissue Srl was founded in the 2000s in Marsala-TP, Sicily per initiative of a group of friends who had the objective of achieving and promoting the consumption of tissue products, including napkins and toilet paper of high quality. Through the Aloha brand, Meridional Tissue is distributor of napkins, toilet paper, paper handkerchiefs and kitchen towels. Its slim structure allows to work on different sizes and formats to meet the requests of the most demanding customers, and maintaining a top quality level.

As of now, the company holds a clear leadership in the market of South Italy and serves the major Italian chains of large retail, with an important share of exports to North Africa, using only converting machines which, like Omet, are at the forefront of technology.

The cooperation with Omet started many years ago when Meridional Tissue bought several machines and equipment which it considered superior to the products of competing companies for their potential and solidity. So states Giuseppe Gerardi, Sales and Marketing Director of Meridional Tissue: «The rapid growth in the relevant market has created the need to make use of robust and automated machinery that can work non-stop 24 hours a day at full speed with no problems.»

Meridional Tissue currently owns two 503 TV lines for the production of napkins under the Aloha brand. The considerable technical skills of some members of the team at Meridional Tissue made the company achieve, through Omet’s machines, the highest level of performance with minimum waste and maximum efficiency. In a market like tissue, marked by fluctuations in the demand and always very competitive, converting companies must be able to rely on reliable partners. It is certainly not a coincidence that Meridional Tissue has chosen Omet among its most important and reliable suppliers for tissue converting. We hope, but we can almost say it with certainty, that the collaboration will continue on the lines drawn in the future.
