Zhejiang XSD about to build a cardboard factory in Malaysia

The Chinese paper manufacturer Zhejiang Xinshengda Holding Groupis planning to build a paper mill with a capacity of 700 thousand tonnes of GD cardboard per year in Malaysia. Late November 2018, the company, a manufacturer of duplex coated paper and corrugated paper, signed a memorandum of understanding with Invest Kedah Berhad, a state consulting company for investments in Malaysia.

The factory should be in Kulim and should accommodate three machines for manufacturing cardboard. The potential investment is estimated at 1.2 billion Malaysian ringgit (about 260 million euros) and the project could create about 1,300 new jobs.
